Internode Products and Services

If you are in the process of choosing an Internet Service Provider (ISP), you will be comparing the various features, packages and prices of various ISP's.  At the end of the day, why should you choose Internode?

There are a lot of good reasons, and here are some of them.

Strong client base

Internode has built a strong base of corporate clients and personal clients who rely on Internode for their Internet service provision. Their customers are loyal and happy, because they strive to create and maintain a service offering which deserves that loyalty and support.  You will notice with Internode that there is no fixed contract or long-time "lock in".  This is because Internode are so good you'll stick with them!

Customer service

Customer service is very important to Internode and to ensure that their service levels remain high as they continue to grow, they have installed a number of management systems to help maintain that outcome.  They operate a 24-hour ticketing system that accepts, allocates, and signs off customer queries as quickly as possible. Their helpdesk staff are here to assist you during normal office hours, and they provide a 24x7 emergency callout service for urgent out-of-hours assistance as well.  If you need them, just call.

Even more importantly, Internode is supported by a large staff of caring and smart people. We strive to provide friendly, competent, understanding support services.

You won't need assistance very often when you use Internode, but if you do, you can be sure that friendly help is available.

Huge bandwidth

The single most important raw factor that will affect your Internet performance is the size of the "pipes" that your ISP has to the Internet. The larger the sum of the sizes of these pipes, the greater your ISP's capacity to provide raw bandwidth to you and the greater its capacity to smooth over transient moments of high load.

Internode runs over 400 megabits per second of available upstream connection capacity to major domestic and international backbones, and additional bandwidth installed to local peering points in multiple states.  They operate their own national network links in addition to their upstream Internet supply links in multiple states.

Some other ISP's claim to have high bandwidth, but often they have bottlenecks between their source of supply and their own servers.  Their bandwidth is all clear-channel bandwidth supplied on fibre-optic bearers directly to their facilities from multiple independent sources (for extra reliability, of course!) .

Internode runs the core of its network on gigabit-per-second switching and routing systems (from Cisco) to ensure a congestion-free connection, every time.
